When will you start my design?
Once your payment is received {WordPress designs} or deposit made {Blogger designs} your name will be added onto the queue. Once your name is placed on the queue you can expect your design to begin within the current wait time. You will be notified if the wait time listed here has been extended.
When do you work on designs and when are you available?
Honest answer- nap time and after 9pm during the week. :) I do work a little when my little man is awake, but not much. I am a night owl and will work until 1-2 in the morning, so very often you will see an email for feedback first thing in the morning.
I would love to get a new look for my blog, but I am afraid of losing everything. Will I end up losing my posts or the things in my sidebars?
Absolutely NOT =) Everything stays the same, just the design changes. Think of it as a new outfit for your blog! Nothing has ever been lost in one of my blog designs, but it always a good idea to back up your template.
What is a scrapbook kit?
A scrapbook kit is what I use to ‘dress up’ your blog- it helps give your blog a theme and adds personality and flair. The kit usually contains digital scrapbook papers, and elements such as butterflies, birds, trees, wordart, frames and much more.
I am looking through scrapbook kits but it is overwhelming! There is so much to choose from. I am having a hard time deciding/ finding what I want. Can you help?
Absolutely. I love reminding my clients that I am here to help – any way I can. The easiest way to find the kit you love is using the search box on the scrapbook sites to look for kits with your favorite color/ symbol, etc. {i.e. “purple”, “butterfly”, “rainbow”}. A good place to start is by looking at the designers listed on this site. When all else fails just email me with what you have in mind/ looking for. I can help you search too!
Can I add more pictures myself to my blog header/ banner as my family grows?
Unfortunately I will need to make this adjustment for you. The blog header is a flattened image and can only be adjusted by tweaking the layers on a photo editing program. Even if you know how to make the change yourself, it would violate my design terms to send you the file. Be sure to purchase storage on the order form {so I can permanently store all your files} if you anticipate changes for your blog design down the road.
I need my blog makeover… like ASAP. Can you rush my order?
Usually the answer is yes. To rush an order means I will work usually weekends to get ahead. A rush order fee is currently $75 and is due at the time the design is scheduled to begin.
